Almighty and Most Loving Father,
My heart cannot contain this feeling of
gratefulness for surrounding me with the most amazing and generous people. I do
not know what I did to deserve them but one thing is for sure: I will be
forever thankful for the gift of loving and super supportive life buddies and
mentors.
I would like to especially thank you Lord for
Mam Di. It never crossed my mind that our paths would meet in this lifetime. I
only saw her name on various literatures I read before. I only heard stories about her. Who would
have thought that she will be my teacher and adviser? And who would have
thought that she will be one of the main reasons why I am here in a place I
dreamed of…
Working with her is such a great honor for
me. Conversing with her would always inspire me to do well in my chosen career
path. She would always remind me to love and love and love my family especially
my parents. Every time I drop by her office, I would go out smiling or laughing
because she just knows how to lighten things up. I admire her passion for work
and her sincere intention to help the students and reach out to co-workers. But
most importantly, I just love how she gets excited every time she talks about
her family especially her grandchildren and of course her beauty essentials.
Her eyes spark like the brightest star in the universe. I just love the way she
handles herself and how she gets through each day of her life.
Lord, thank you. Thank you so much for giving
IFST a person such as Dr. Erlinda Dizon. Thank you for giving this world a
person we can always count on. Lord, continue to bless her. Bless her more so
that she can also be a blessing to others. May she be more receptive to the
unbounded, limitless, and overflowing abundance of Your love. Fill her heart
with joy as she enters a new and exciting chapter of her life. Give her the strength that she needs to stay
gorgeous and ever kikay. Mam Di is not Mam Di without her colored nails,
sparkling shoes, and classic dresses. Keep her healthy and motivated to do the
things that she longs to do and experience. Bless her family that they may be
able to share many beautiful memories together.
May she always remember that she touched a lot of lives, that this world
is lucky to have her, and that she will never be forgotten.
