My name is Sheba. I am a dragon born on August 25. My father was and will always be the best in the world. He died in 2001 because of an accident. My mom is a super woman, model of hard-work and optimism. I took BS Food Technology in UP Mindanao and pursued graduate studies in UP Los Baños taking up MS Food Science (Minor in Biochemistry). I enjoy working in the laboratory studying microorganisms, enzymes, lactic acid, etc. Others call me a nerd; but I doubt it. I'm not even close to the likes of Dexter, Sheldon Cooper, and Amy Farrah Fowler. But I am proud to call myself a scientist in progress.
I am normal. I think. I love simple things. I love hanging out with kids for the innocence they bear and with old people for the wisdom they hold. I joined organizations with the intention of improving oneself while in service to
others. UP Omega Alpha Sorority, UP Omega Alpha Alumni Association, Inc., and UP
Mindanao Ladies Football Varsity Team
have always been close to my heart and have taught me a lot of things in life that left good memories and meaningful experiences.
I aspire of
becoming a good influence and example to my siblings, be a volunteer to the
barrios, and be an inspiration to others. I know that life is difficult but I strive to make the most out of it. I may not have the perfect family but I am very thankful I have one.
My journey
never ceases to show me that though life is not always wonderful, it will always be an experience full of wonder.
